Welcome

The Student Design Organization provides an opportunity for the UMD Graphic Design Students to explore design outside of the current curriculum. We intend to better understand our future profession through studio tours, collaborative projects, and networking. SDO aims to showcase what exists in graphic design beyond the classroom and seeks to expand our student body's graphic design knowledge outside, but in collaboration with the university environment.

A Big Thanks!

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank the folks from OrangeSeed, Catalyst, Larsen, and the Nerdery for inviting us to tour their studios on Friday. You gave us some great insight on the industry, and how we can push our work to the next level. Also props go to Catalyst for one of the better souvenirs we’ve ever come away with!

A few examples after the break.
